Stephanie Gebhard

About Me
Hi, and welcome! I'm Stephanie Gebhard, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Orange County, California. I specialize in women's mental health and supporting individuals through life's most significant transitions, including fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, motherhood, perimenopause, menopause, and other reproductive health experiences.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered, meaning I view you as a whole person—not a diagnosis. Together, we'll explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and create a path forward that aligns with your values and goals.
I have specialized experience working with Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, perinatal OCD, pregnancy-related anxiety, and adjustment challenges during pregnancy and the postpartum period. I understand that becoming a parent can bring both joy and unexpected emotional struggles, and I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to navigate those experiences.
In addition to my work in women's mental health, I support men and women experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also work with individuals navigating the emotional and physical changes associated with hormonal and reproductive health experiences, including perimenopause and menopause. Whether you're struggling with increased anxiety, depression, stress, identity changes, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can provide a space to gain insight, build coping skills, and create meaningful change.
As a clinician with experience embedded within women's healthcare settings, I understand the unique intersection of mental health, reproductive health, and identity. Whether you're trying to conceive, navigating pregnancy, adjusting to life with a new baby, coping with postpartum depression or anxiety, or managing the challenges of perimenopause and menopause, you do not have to do it alone.
Healing begins when we feel safe enough to bring our full selves into the room. My goal is to create that space and walk alongside you as you build resilience, reconnect with yourself, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Therapeutic Philosophy
I believe that healing occurs when we feel seen, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that each person possesses inherent strengths and resilience. Together, we will explore the challenges you're facing while building on the resources you already have within you.
My work integrates mindfulness-based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and person-centered approaches to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and lasting coping skills. Mindfulness encourages us to slow down, become more present, and relate to our thoughts and emotions with curiosity rather than judgment. CBT helps identify patterns of thinking and behavior that may be contributing to distress, allowing us to challenge unhelpful beliefs and create healthier, more adaptive responses.
As a trauma-informed clinician, I recognize the impact that past experiences, relationships, and life transitions can have on our emotional well-being. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, substance use, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, postpartum challenges, or the transitions associated with perimenopause and menopause, therapy provides an opportunity to better understand yourself and move forward with intention.

Women's Empowerment and Healing
$200 per session
Women's mental health is a specialty focus of my practice. From fertility and pregnancy to postpartum adjustment, perimenopause, and menopause, I help women navigate the emotional challenges that can accompany life's major transitions. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, identity changes, or simply feeling unlike yourself, therapy can provide a space for healing, growth, and reconnection. Together, we'll work toward greater balance, self-understanding, and emotional well-being through every stage of life.

Men's Growth and Self-Discovery
$200 per session
While much of my practice focuses on women's mental health and life transitions, I also work with men navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, substance use concerns, relationship challenges, and major life changes.
Men often face unique pressures related to identity, career, relationships, fatherhood, and societal expectations around emotional expression. These challenges can lead to feelings of isolation, overwhelm, self-doubt, or difficulty connecting with others. Therapy offers a space to explore these experiences without judgment, develop greater emotional awareness, and build healthier ways of coping.
Whether you're managing stress, navigating a significant life transition, strengthening relationships, adjusting to parenthood, or working through personal challenges, our work together will focus on helping you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, your values, and the life you want to create.
